About me

I've been involved in sales and customer service roles all of my life. My biggest annoyance is inconsistent customer service. I usually find customers receive the best level of service at the beginning of their interactions with people, with care and attention to detail quickly waning, particularly if things become in any way difficult. My objective has always been to make a difference, to show customers that I'm someone who will always do as they say and who will treat them the same way at the start of a transaction right through to the end. Having started my career in banking, then insurance, many years later I went on to become a mortgage broker for L J Hooker Financial Services where I reached Captains Club (top 15% of mortgage brokers in the LJ Hooker global network), a role where I felt the greatest satisfaction in helping people. Being a mortgage broker gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills in remaining calm and organised, multitasking with real estate agents, clients, solicitors and banks, whilst all the while sheltering my clients of any stress throughout the entire sales process and ultimately ensuring they received the good news that they were able to buy the home that they wanted. After approximately 8 years, I moved on to work for Metricon Homes and now in Residential Sales for Performance Realty, a business that has equally high standards for consistent and memorable customer service.
